About

My name is Clare and I have over 20 years experience working in a children’s environment starting out as a private nanny and going on to have 3 beautiful girls myself so I am super fun, friendly and engaging.

I have been Face Painting since early 2009 after completing several training courses myself. I now teach beginner's face painting workshops and more advanced techniques to other face painters.

I am also a member of The International FACE Painting Association 522 and South East Area Rep for them.

I have 5m Public Liability Insurance with Rees Asley and I also carry a current DBS.

Health & Safety

I am also a fully qualified beautician so have extensive knowledge of skin and about products that are applied so I will not paint anyone who appears to be suffering from cold sores, conjunctivitis or any infectious skin condition or any other skin complaint that may worsen with the application of cosmetics. I reserve the right to refuse to paint a person for any reason or something on a person that we consider offensive or a child that does not want to be painted.

All paints used are professional water based face paints that are of high standard and safe for use on children aged 3+ it not recommended for a child under the age of 3yrs to have face paints applied as their skin has not adapted to the environment and they are more likely to have a reaction. I use a clean sponge with every child and change the water regularly.

I also offer festival glitters including chunky glitter all cosmetic grade and covered under my insurance policy.

A patch test can be done should a parent not know if their child has an allergy to face paints. Face paints can easily be removed using mild baby shampoo or a very gentle soap & water.

PLEASE DO NOT USE BABY WIPES.
